Security First Planners was founded by Rohn Hein in 1999 as an independent financial planning firm devoted to individuals and small businesses. Dedicated to the financial planning process, I listen carefully to the stated objectives and concerns of my clients before making any recommendations. My goal is always to find the right service to match the particular problem that a client faces. With securities offered through American Portfolio Financial Services, I am able to objectively  provide clients with a full range of financial and insurance products.

I am a Certified Financial Planner^TM practitioner. CFP^TM is a certification mark owned by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. These marks are awarded to individuals who successfully complete the CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements. With over twenty years in the financial services business, I have learned that it is more important to know where to find the answers as opposed to knowing everything personally. By networking with other professionals throughout the country, clients are comforted to know that the answers presented have been well thought out and examined by a team of experts.
